I’m pleased to announce that my Ube Cheesecake is now available at Filipino Food and Bakery, San Diego!
Made from scratch, from the real purple yam and cream cheese filling, to the graham cracker with toasted coconut crust. Ube, pronounced “ou-beh,” is a nutritious purple yam, that is abundant in the Philippines. This sweet and rich ingredient is used in many Filipino desserts, such as ice cream, cakes, or on it’s own as an amazing jam. Those that have tasted my Ube cheesecake like the fact that you can definitely taste the purple yam (it’s not just colored), and it’s not too sweet, but just right. Try a slice today!
